Tidewick
A bare rock in a grey sea, and the stump of a lighthouse that went dark long ago.
Gather driftwood from the tideline. Hire a beachcomber, then another. Cut stone, saw planks, build a harbour and a row of cottages, press kelp into lamp oil and send boats to the far banks. Raise the tower stone by stone, and when the lamp is full, light it, so the ships can find their way home.
Tidewick is a calm idle game that ends. Every purchase adds something you can see on the little island, the sky turns from day to dusk to night as you go, and after about half an hour of play the lamp is lit and the game tells you how long it took. Then you can keep watching the light turn, or start a new island.
