Thornloop: Garden Ring Runner

An arcade ring runner where every bloom you pick leaves a thorn on the next lap. Free, no ads, no tracking. Touch, mouse, keyboard or gamepad.

Nell the hare runs laps around a round meadow with three dirt paths and picks every bloom on her path. Each picked bloom leaves a seedling, and when the next lap starts the seedling is a thorn. Hop between the paths, pick greedily, and remember where your own thorns will be.

• One rule, lots of decisions: the game never places a thorn. Every hazard is one of your own earlier picks, and it withers two laps later.
• Bouquets: the same kind of bloom in a row multiplies your points up to x5. Greed builds the garden you must dodge next lap.
• Four gardens: Mill Meadow, Turnabout Lane (Nell turns around every third lap), Bee Orchard (a bumblebee hums against you) and Wild Briar (the briar plants brambles of its own), opened with the seeds you collect.
• Daily garden: the same garden and the same blooms for every player today. Copy your result and keep a streak.
• Feats and scarves: ten feats and six scarves for Nell; five clean laps grow a lost leaf back; a golden sun bloom withers every thorn.
• Plays anywhere: tap IN or OUT, use the arrow keys or a gamepad; landscape or portrait; pause, music, sound, vibration and swap-sides settings.
• Original theme: "Nell's Reel", composed for the game and played by code. Its tempo follows the lap speed.
