A colour snake arcade game with one twist: Rilla the ribbon eel may swim through her own body, but only where the stripe has her head's colour. Then it pops! Free, no ads, no tracking. Mouse, touch, keyboard or gamepad.

Every plankton Rilla eats adds a stripe of its colour behind her head and turns her head that colour. Loop back and cross a stripe of the same colour: the whole stripe pops, she gets shorter and her glow comes back. Cross a stripe of another colour and she tangles. Her glow fades all the time, so keep popping.

  • Plan the order you eat in: eat three reds, a blue, then a red again, and the red stripe behind you is ready to pop.
  • Chains: a pop that closes a gap between two stripes of one colour joins them; four or more pop as well.
  • Tides and charms: pop enough stripes and the tide turns: pick one of three charms (Long Glow, Chain Song, Soft Scales, Prism Eye and more).
  • Hazards that arrive one at a time: jellyfish, sea urchins, snip crabs that bite your tail, and a hungry gulper.
  • Four reefs: Sunny Shallows, Kelp Garden, Old Wreck (with a current) and Moon Trench.
  • Daily reef: the same plankton and hazards for every player today. Copy your result and keep a streak.
  • Pearls, fins and feats: every popped stripe earns pearls that open reefs and six fins for Rilla; twelve feats to collect.
  • Plays anywhere: mouse, drag on touch, arrow keys or a gamepad stick; landscape or portrait; pause, music, sound, relaxed glow and vibration settings. Colours also carry shapes (dot, ring, star, bar, diamond, cross) and the head's colour is named on screen.
  • Original theme: "Rilla's Current", a swaying sea tune composed for the game and played by code.
