A handful of cards, a little island, and a village waiting to happen.

Snugholm is a cozy puzzle about putting things in the right place. Each turn you build one of three buildings from your hand on a small map of meadows, woods, rocks and water, and every building scores by what stands next to it. Cottages like neighbours and parks but not the noise of a workshop. Fields want water or a well. Windmills want fields. Docks need the shore. Markets love variety. Point at a square and the board shows exactly what you would gain, and what every neighbour would gain or lose.

As the village grows, the island comes alive: smoke curls from chimneys, villagers stroll round their houses, sails turn, boats bob at the docks, and the light slowly turns to a golden evening with lit windows.

  • Twelve hand-made islands and valleys, each with one to three stars to earn
  • A new Daily Holm every day, the same island for everyone
  • Eight buildings, introduced one by one, each with its rule written on its card
  • No timers, unlimited undo; about 5–10 minutes a map
  • Plays in the browser on desktop and phones; progress saves itself
