Fractions you can touch. Slicewell asks for a fraction and lets you build it: cut a pie into equal slices and shade some of them, shade a bar to show the same amount with more parts, or put two fractions together into one bar.

Every answer is checked by value, so 2/4 counts for 1/2 and you see why. A wrong answer is never just a red cross: the right picture appears, with its simplest form, before you move on.

  • Five stages, ten tasks each: cut the pie, which is bigger, same amount, adding like parts, adding unlike parts
  • Pies and bars: equal slices and parts you shade by tapping or with the keyboard
  • Stars: three for 9 or 10 right, two for 7 or 8, one for 5 or 6; stars are saved
  • Mistakes teach: the right picture and the simplest form are shown
  • Challenge mode: mixed tasks that get harder, three lives, best run saved
  • Keyboard or touch: every task works with either
