Siftwend
A glass jar, a handful of materials, and one button that turns everything upside down.
Paint sand, water, oil, wood, fire, ice, plants, lava, steam and stone into the jar and watch them behave: sand piles and sinks, water finds its way and slides under oil, fire climbs wood and runs across an oil slick, water puts flames out in a hiss of steam, steam rains back down, lava turns water into stone and sand into glass, plants drink and grow.
Then turn the jar over. Sand and water fall to the lid, flames and steam rise towards the floor, and a seedling hanging from the lid can be watered by the puddle beneath it.
- 20 short goal jars: water the seedlings, burn the crate but keep the cottage, fill the cup on the lid, put out a burning tree, grow a plant up a glass tube, cool a lava pit into a bridge. Each gives you a small palette and marks where you may pour
- Three stars for using little ink; every jar has been finished within its three-star budget by a recorded solution in our automated tests
- A daily jar, the same for everyone that day
- A free sandbox with every material, an eraser and as many flips as you like; it saves itself
- Pixel jar with glowing fire and lava, soft synthesised pours, sizzles and chimes, and a quiet music box
- Mouse, touch and keyboard; plays on phones; saves in your browser; no ads, no payments, no accounts
