Rungwick is a word ladder. Climb from the start word to the goal word one letter at a time, and every rung must be a real word.

A candle burns down with every step: reach the goal on par for three stars.

• 24 levels: six 3-letter ladders to warm up, then eighteen 4-letter ladders up to 8 steps.
• Proven solvable: every level's par is computed by breadth-first search over the game's word list.
• Daily ladder: a new 4-letter ladder every day.
• Hints and undo: a hint marks which letter to change next and costs a star; undo is free.
• Own word list: about 1500 common 4-letter and 400 common 3-letter English words, nothing offensive.
• Keyboard or touch: type on your keyboard or use the on-screen keys.
