Queenmoss
One crown in every row, every column and every coloured patch of moss, and no two crowns may touch, not even at a corner. Simple rules, and a satisfying chain of deductions on every board.
Every puzzle is generated by the game and checked twice: a solver proves there is exactly one solution, and a deduction engine proves you can reach it without guessing. The same engine powers the hints, which explain one logical step at a time.
- Daily puzzle: grown from the date, with a timer and a streak that counts consecutive days
- Archive of 40: six 6x6 boards to learn on, rising to 10x10
- Unique and fair: one solution per puzzle, reachable by logic alone
- Explaining hints: each hint names its reason (a single cell left, a region confined to one row, a crown that would leave no room) and applies it on a second press
- Helpful marking: X marks, drag to paint, optional auto-X for cells a crown rules out, undo and clear
- Keyboard or touch: cursor and keys, or tap and drag
