A lantern, a short sword and five dice. Pipdelve is a dice roguelite: roll, keep what fits, reroll the rest twice, then slot each die into your equipment. Every item wants a different die, so a roll of 6, 6, 3, 2, 1 is a plan, not luck.

Enemies show their next move above their heads: an attack, a guard, a rage, a hex that cracks one of your dice. Decide whether to hit hard now or raise your shield first.

  • Seven kinds of gear: sword (4+), dagger (1-3), bow (odd), hammer (6, pierces guard), shield (any), potion (even), charm (1-2, extra reroll)
  • Three floors, fifteen fights: four foes and a guardian per floor, from cellar rats to The Delve Heart
  • Readable enemies: every foe telegraphs attacks, guards, healing, rage and hexes
  • Pick 1 of 3 rewards after each win: new gear up to six slots, upgrades to three stars, max HP or rest
  • Permadeath runs: a run takes about 10-15 minutes; your best score is saved
  • Keyboard or touch: number keys and slot letters, or tap a die then a slot
