Netwhistle is a penalty shootout cup. You take a kick, then you go in goal, and so on, five each and then sudden death. Win five rounds against five teams to lift the cup; lose one and you are out.

Shooting is three decisions: steer an aim that drifts more as the pressure rises, stop the power bar (too hard and it flies over), then pick a curl that bends the ball late. Keeping is about reading people: where the shooter runs in from, which way the hips turn, and whether he leans back.

  • Drifting aim: the reticle wobbles more in later rounds, in sudden death and the longer you wait.
  • Power and curl: two timing bars; curl beats a keeper who read your aim but risks the post.
  • Run-up tells: approach angle, hip turn and lean back, more often bluffed by better teams, plus stutter steps that punish an early dive.
  • Keepers who learn: the AI keeper reads your aim and remembers which side you favour.
  • Five-round cup: Brookfield Rovers to Royal Meridian, five kicks each and sudden death.
  • Score and best: points for rounds won, goals and saves; your best score is kept.
