Hoopwick is a basketball shooting game seen from the side, with a ball that clanks off the rim, banks off the backboard and drops through a swaying net. Drag back and release to shoot, or aim with the arrow keys and hold Space to set the power.

The rack tour runs across eight courts. Each gives you 60 seconds for five racks of five balls and a points target; miss it and the tour ends. The duels are a game of HOOP: call your spot and your shot, and your opponent has to match it or take a letter.

• Eight courts: a park, a schoolyard, a gym with a sliding hoop, rooftops with wind and gusts, a bobbing pier hoop and a carnival hoop that loops a figure of eight

• Call-your-shot duels: pick one of five spots and call Any, Swish or Bank against four AI rivals who shoot better and call harder shots as the ladder climbs
• Two players: a local HOOP duel, taking turns on one keyboard or one screen
• Saved progress: best rack score, best court reached and your place on the duel ladder
