Cueholm is a calm pool hall in your browser. Rack up eight-ball against the Cueholm AI or practise nine-ball alone. The aim line shows the ghost ball, where the object ball will go and how the cue ball will glance off.

The AI is not random: before each shot it finds the balls it can pot, simulates many angles and strengths with the same physics you play with, scores the results for pots, fouls and position, then takes the best one with a small aiming error, so it can miss like a person.

  • Eight-ball rules: break, open table, solids and stripes, sink the 8 last
  • Fouls: scratch, no contact or wrong first ball give ball in hand anywhere
  • Shot-simulating AI that plans for position and plays safeties when nothing is on
  • Four AI levels: each frame you win sharpens the AI's aim for the next one
  • Ball physics with rolling friction, cushions, pocket jaws and six pockets
  • Nine-ball practice: lowest ball first, clear the rack in 30 shots
  • Aiming guide with a ghost ball and deflection lines
  • Keyboard or touch: arrows and Space, or point and drag back to strike
